[botnets] Found IRC servers

Hi All   We have found some IRC servers on some of our servers in our address space of 139.80.   Managed to obtain most of the install files and subsequent logs etc.   What info is of use to the list as this area of security is new to me.   Can any one recommend helpful sites/books too?   Balderz
