I find myself working on other people's computers quite a bit, and I'd like to
develop a procedure to check for botnet infections. I'm somewhat familiar with
using netstat to check for IRC communications, but now I've been reading that
more botnets are using http for their communications. How should I go about
checking to see if a computer is a zombie? I've searched in the archives, but
only found info on detecting botnet activity in larger networks, not on
standalone computers.
