I am sorry about the cancellation. Both Carmen and I were going to attend. I didn't realize we needed to rsvp. Let me know when the next meeting is held. Fran Eichenauer

I had previously forwarded members of H.S.A. an announcement of this meeting (facilitated by the Latino Task Force to consider opposition to the upcoming anti-immigrant bills/ballot initiatives) - please see below for notice of its cancellation.

Subject: January 28th meeting cancellation

Friends,

Due to the lack of response from key Agency directors and service providers, we have decided to cancel the meeting to discuss the anti-immigrant agenda, scheduled for Saturday, January 28th. We simply didn’t get the type of critical mass we felt was necessary to have the kind of discussion we had anticipated.  The Latino Taskforce is extremely concerned about the organized and growing anti-immigrant forces and their agenda for this legislative session and the upcoming elections.  The LTF believes that it is important to discuss the possibility of having an organized local response and what it might look like.   To this end, we will be seeking your advice and counsel in the near future.  You will be informed of any future meetings.  Thank you,

Pete Salas

President,

Latino Taskforce of Boulder County
