Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence Presents Anti-Racism Institute
Mothers In Prison Friday, August 18, 2006 9:00 a.m.* - 12:30 p.m.
*If this is your first Institute session, welcome! We ask that all participants who did not attend Session 1: An Introduction to Anti-Racism Education attend a mandatory Anti-Racism Institute Orientation from 9-9:30 a.m. For all others, Institute begins promptly at 9:30 a.m.
Topics include:
- Overview of the Prison Industrial Complex - Mothers In Prison & Community Accountability - Film: Troop 1500 - Girl Scouts Beyond Bars
Special Guests include staff from the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition.
All Institute sessions are held at the Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (SPAN), 835 North Street, Boulder.
$50 per session. $35 when registering with groups of 3 or more. Includes coffee, tea, snacks and lunch. Space limited but still available!
