Hi, Sorry, this is not a bpython bug. Probably you defined sum() yourself or assigned "sum" to some other function and forgot about it.
What you are describing is not something that bpython could create due to a bug in bpython; all code entered is passed directly to the interpreter. If an exception is raised it is because Python raised it, and "sum() takes exactly two arguments" is not something Python would ever raise without `sum` being rebound.
