Well, I've already completed a Qt python console. It isn't based on
bpython as I realized I needed to run the interpreter in a separate
process. My code currently supports syntax highlighting, word wrap,
history. Left to do is completions and calltips, but those should be
trivial. If you're interested, the code is here

It should be easy to port the Console class to bpython if you want to.
