[Braillenote] mpowered

I am having trouble connecting my son's mpower to our wireless router  and to 
the internet.
 
He can see the SSID of our network and is told he is connected.   However, 
when he trys to go out to any site on the net, he gets the message  "cannot 
find 
server".
 
Any suggestions?
