Hi Les,

I have a linksys router, but the procedure is probably similar with other
routers as well.

You need to log onto the router. In the case of the linksys routers you log on
to:

http://192.168.1.1 and log on to your router. For my linksys, no user name is
required and the default password is admin.

Then, you go to wireless settings. Note that my router will accomodate both
wireless and wired connections.

Then, once in wireless, locate the security settings.

Your wep should be in there. Not sure if this is true with all routers, but my
wep key actually shows up in the settings, so it's easy to locate it.

A side note here. If you are setting up a wep key the router software will
give you the option of letting it generate a key for you as well as allowing
you to
enter it manually.

I choose to enter it manually as then you can create a key which is easier to
enter into the braillenote.

Finally, many routers will let you define several wep keys. Mine allows for
four. But, the braillenote will only look for the first wep key used, so
that's the one
you want to select for the bn. I just left the other keys with no value
entered.
