Hi Pam,

Did you go into the support information mode and then start the
re-calibration process? Go to the options menu with space with o, then
press space with i to get into support information mode, and then press the
letter r to start the battery re-calibration. You will need to have the AC
adapter plugged in for this process, and you will need to be prepared for
this process to take quite sometime to go all the way through. And, while
it is going on, you won't be able to use the unit. But, with the mPower, it
is all automatic. The battery first
appears to charge up, then talks until it goes flat, and then charges up
again. And, while this is all going on, you can press the spacebar to get a
status report.

Subject: [Braillenote] battery gage

Hi,

An o chord p started giving me the message that the battery gage needs
recalibrating and is not accurate enough to give a percentage reading. So I
let the battery go completely flat. But now I'm charging the battery and
still getting the same message. Any suggestions?

Pam
