Hi KC,

Well, there are different flavors of cookies, (SMILE)!, but, in general,
a cookie is a small file that is placed on your computer by a web site
that you have fisited. These are usually shopping sites, or sites where
you establish an account. They are often helpful, as they are your
calling card when you revisit the site, often enabling you to sign in
without having to reenter user names, passwords, etc. They are usually
not harmful, and take up almost no space. Deleting them may mean that
you will have to continually reenter your user name and password when
visiting a site that requires it. I think that worrying about them is
much ado about nothing.
