Good question.
They should send such messages via email so that you and others can read
them.

Actually, this whole incident brought to the fore another issue.  I
didn't get the announcement about the KS upgrade options, only a message
from a friend saying it would cost  $195; and, nothing about that being
the only option.
Upon inquiry, I learned that the reason I'm not on the E-Mai list to get
Humanware announcments is because I don't use speech and some are sent
that way. What I'm wondering is, can't the announcments be sent in text
and then read with speech by those who can hear? (When Humanware tried
sending me a voice announcement, it really screwed up my Braillenote!)
Isn't  there any other BN user who has this problem?
