Hi Sarah, Generally, when discussing the expression "line of sight" in terms of radio frequencies, we mean that the signal travels directly from transmitter to receiver without bouncing off the upper atmosphere first, as is the case with longer wave transmission, i. e. ham radio, short wave broadcast, etc. Andy
