Rather than just checking the circuit, plug a radio or fan or something you can
hear working into the socket then unplug it if it was working and plug the
transformer back in. If your problem is the transformer and not the device,
perhaps you could get the specs from Humanware to get a replacement charger
from Radio Shack...if they have used a basic compatable type that is. It is
easy to test if the charger is good if you know someone with a meter. Can you
get to a radio shack They should be able to test it for you. It's nice to
narrow down where your problem is. Sorry this is happening. I know how
frustrating it can be.
