Hi Isaac and list: First of all, if I recall, I did tell you to write in upper case, but not to use a number sign. However, when writing instructions to the list, it would come out very funny if one didn't. Even if you wrote in computer braille, a number sign is going to show up when converted to grade two. And yes, you can use a dot 2,6 chord to schedule an appointment. I'm looking in my BrailleNote to see if you can do it both ways. I don't have a pk, so I try to give you the best information I can. I don't know how long you've had your pk, but your experience would be better than mine.
