Be aware that the Ambicom wireless card is always drawing some amount of power if it is plugged in and the unit is turned on and not in standby power save type mode. The card has a bright LED looking light in it that blinks if nbot active and glows constantly when you are connected. I don't imagine this is drawing much ower, but it is being powered by your unit, so there is a draw. I use my Ambicom card in a PCMCIA adaptor in the side slot of my unit and just pop the eject butgton to disengage it if I am not using it and have the unit turned on for some other purpose.
