You may be a good programmer, but you are a poor historian.  Pulse Data
developed the first version of keyword in the late 1980's to run on their
first note taker which was called the Keynote computer.  Later it was ported
to the keynote Companion.  Neither of these devices utilized any version of
Windows.  As a matter of fact, the keynote computer preceded Windows 3.0 by
at least a year, and the keynote Companion actually ran on a flavor of DOS.
