Thanks, Jonathan, I didn't realize that the media player needed to be left in pause mode in order to resume later on, so that works. When I return to it, it asks if I want to continue playing the file I was last listening to. So I'm assuming then if one was listening to an audio book and wanted to resume it later, you couldn't listen to any other .mp3 files or streaming media in the meantime or you would lose your place in the audio book. That works for me as that is how my .mp3 players operate also.
