Don and others have you ever run your various sound sources through a graphic
equalizer in your home? I've not tried this for myself because I don't need
that much amplification yet to do it with TV and computer and stereo. But if
you are running the loop and all, you might get an equalizer and adjust it for
your own specific needs. We gave one to a friend here in town and she set up
all her computer and recorder and eerything to run through it with just exactly
the settings she needed. For some reason although she took the settings into
her hearing aid man, he could never duplicate them entirely in her hearing
aids. But at home she doesn't wear the aids, she just uses the sound system
she's set up. Of course she lives alone, so she can do this easily. In her case
her whole house is set up to be her hearing aid.
