Hi: - that's not true, gps version 3.1 works just as well with the BN 6.1. However, if you are using gps version 3.0 and have upgraded to the BN 6.1 you will then need to upgrade your gps to either 3.1, or 3.3, since GPS version 3.0 is not compatible with the BN 6.1.
