Hello Gabe, When you are calibrating a battery on the mPower for example, the software will disconnect the AC adapter once it receives a message from the smart charging system that the battery has reached its capacity. However, when doing a normal charge, the internal regulator in the BrailleNote which is in the form of a smart charging chip, will ensure that the battery is not over charged.
