Richard, If you've turned the PK into its standby mode while the card is in place, then remove the card, you will likely as not get that message more than once; this actually is quite a common scenario with Windows Mobile devices if you turn them off and then remove cards. Personally, I always remove a card before turning the PK off, and always turn on the PK before I insert a card; by so doing, I only get a card message once each time I do either action with the card. I assure you that it's better that the PK tells you that it has seen the card than not!
