Hi Everyone I'm trying to delete a directory. I received the same error message when trying to delete folders a few weeks ago. I also received this same error message when I tried to rename a folder. I get through all of the steps about erasing a directory or a folder. When I say yes I'm sure I want to delete the folder the error message I receive is the following: the file cannot be access (followed by several asterisks) because it is being used by another process
I noticed that this happens when the directory and/or the folder doesn't have any information in the files. This seems to happen more if I have deleted all of the files on the folder first. This time I'm just trying to delete the directory and I created a test file for the folder under the directory just to see if it would work and I received the same error message. Any suggestions? I'm following the steps from the help prompts. Thanks for your time and your assistance. Lisa
