Thank you, Jim, I had just started forwarding the messages I wanted to keep 
to my PC yesterday. That seems to work fine as they follow the original mail 
rules so end up sorted when they land as it were. I guess these days 16 MB 
isn't much at all, is it?

Every day I seem to be getting better at managing where things go and how to 
get them there.

I do have one question, is there a quick way to open a text file as one 
would open NOTEPAD  on a PC. By the time I get through selecting the 
directory, folder, type of file I want, and all that, I've forgotten what it 
was I wanted to make a note of there. My short term memory is almost not 
there you see.
