I note with concern the level of response to this youngster's email. We don't know his full situation as he hasn't seen fit to make that clear. I have a laptop and I successfully argued for an mPower transplant from my BN classic. For me (I have Occupational Over-Use Syndrome) a laptop is almost impossible to use without a full-size keyboard, reducing its portability somewhat. Therefore, I find the mPower extremely helpful as it's far easier for me to braille than to type on a small keyboard. I think a little less judgment and a little more friendliness would be in order all round. If I were him and had gotten the type of responses which he has received, I'd seriously consider unsubbing.
