Hi, listers.
I found something very interesting today. I was playing an mp3 file on my MPower and noticed that even at full volume, it was not very loud. I got out my old bn with 6.11 just to see if the file would play. It did, but at a much louder volume.I started experimenting with the MPower. I had my speech volume at 20. I found that if I pushed it to 32 after setting the review voice to 5, not only was the speech much louder, but the mp3 played much louder as well. Also, recordings made through the external microphone played much louder as well. Somehow, the speech volume is still tied to the media player volume. Of course, you can turn speech off and then the media player volume will still be as loud.
Very interesting.
So, if your media player just doesn't seem that loud, crank up the speech and the media player volume will follow.
