[Braillenote] Compact Flash Card

We have a Braillenote 32.  I just tried to use a compact flash card in the 
Braillenote that I'd used in my camera.  When I inserted the card the 
Braillenote said "card inserted" like the manual says should happen.  But 
when I tried to save a file to the compact flash and typed in "s" for that 
drive, it said the drive didn't exist.

Do I have to use a brand new Compact Flash card that's never been used for 
anything else?  Am I doing something wrong?
