John, that battery doesn't calibrate in the same way as the BN/VN battery.  So, 
when you plugged in the adapter, you didn't get the message that it was on? 
This is a weird question.  Is it plugged into an outlet that's double-sided? I 
mean, does it run by a light switch or anything like that? Good luck with all 
this.
