I agree! Its what ever you are taught first is what you are best at. I almost hate slates because I have to turn every letter around in my mind before punching it on the slate. the braille writer is second nature to me. I hardly have to even think about it. Almost like the typewriter alphabet keys are second nature to me. Braille is a second language I was able to over come, but not the slate.
