Hi, all. I'm a bit puzzled by Pam's problem that caused her car ride
home to have been recorded. Isn't the default setting that the
record button won't work with the machine off? So even if Pam had
turned on her machine to write something down, if she'd turned it off
again, wouldn't it have stopped recording? If installing the patch
had reverted the settings, as it did on my machine, wouldn't it make
it so the record button couldn't be pressed with the machine off?
