Hello fellow listers,
Now that I have keysoft 6.1 installed on my braillenote, I think I'd like to
explore the wireless capabilities that everyone's been talking about. But
first, I have some questions:Once your connected to the wireless network, can
you
begin surfing the web using the network connection itself? or do you have to
log onto an isp first. I don't know anything about networking, and I've never
used a wireless network before.

P.S.
By the way, I've heard many of you on the list talking about using routers.
What's a router, and what is it for? I don't have one yet, but when I purchase
a wireless card,I'd like to set my bn up, so that I could log on to a
wireless network, and be able to leave the house with my unit, and still be
connected
to the network. For those of you, who already have a wireless card, have you
ever tried to do this?I've always wanted to have a notetaker that had the type
of technology, that would allow you to carry it around, and be online at the
same time. From the way it sounds, I take it, that the wireless card works
somewhat like a modem. Is this assumtion correct?
