Hi lisa,

To transfer files on a CF card to a PC you will need a flash card reader.
You remove the card from the BN, insert it into the reader, and plug the
reader into a USB port on your PC. Then the reader is seen under "My
Computer" as another drive. You can copy files to and from that drive just
like any other drive on your PC. The PC would not have to run XP, but would
have to have USB ports. You can insert CF cards into the side slot of the
BN by placing them into a CF to PCMCIA adapter. You can purchase the CF
card reader and CF to PCMCIA adapter at computer stores, or on the web. I do
not think that your PC could handle .BRF files unless you had Braille
translation software on your PC such as Duxbury. Thus you will probably
have to convert those files to something like an MS WORD or .TXT format.
