Hi Folks: The recording quality on the mPower sure could use improvement. In all my years of using audio, I've never seen an instance were a 1.5DB gain makes the difference as to whether or not your recording is legible or not. Even at a sampling rate of 22.05 MHZ and a bit depth of 16, the quality of the recording as rendered by the internal mike is far less than what it should be.
Don't get me wrong, the mPower is a great device, but it's not because of it's recording capabilities that's for sure. Cheers.
