This is Joseph. Object Exchange (commonly known as
ObEx) is a way of sending and receiving data between
devices like cell phones and PDA's. The object
exchange is mainly supported on machines that have
infrared port. Many devices today even support object
exchange using Bluetooth. So, when you pair mPower
with Nokia 6620, for example, under list of services
you will see something like, 'object exchange
(unsupported).' This is because mPower does not
support object exchange yet. I hope this information
may clarify your question. By the way, I contacted
Dean Jackson about this and Jonathan Mosen about using
infrared ports. They say that the feature is not
supported yet, but they hope to add to the list of
features in the future.
