you can download a shareware sound editor called GoldWave from
http;//www.goldwave.com
Audible has asked them to remove any reference to this feature from their
site, but you can use it to open Audible files, and then save them to MP3 so
they can be read on the BrailleNote. This way you don't have to burn to CD
and rip. It is true this violates the terms of the Audible agreement,
however if you are using it for your own personal use after having bought
the books yourself, they're not going to come after you and it works really
well. If you have an mPower you can also save in WindowsMedia format and
play them that way.
