I use a very strong thin letter opener and gently prise it up, go carefully and work along it ie each end and then the middle. Unless you have strong nails and fingers but with arthritic hands etc, it is certainly no joke! and does it get any easier, not really! Why they couldn't put in a little button like they did on the classic, beats me. Sylvia.
