Go into active sync and go to connection settings in the file menu and
make sure that port is selected and the allow serial connection checkbox is
checked.

Hello,
I am needing assistance connecting my BN to my PC using ActiveSync. I have
the ActiveSync 3.8 installed on my PC, connect via serial cable, Using
Windows XP. I am receiving a error message that tells me that the port is
not available. It shows me that com port 2 is available, and I have gone
into systems and comport 2 is enabled. Any suggestions?
