Hi, all.  I talked to Chris at Humanware today, and my reset loop is 
fixed!  At first he said he was concerned about the flash disk, but 
then he had me get rid of all the old files and stuff.  It reminded 
me of a post someone made about how to uninstall GPS, with a bunch of 
backspace lower g commands in strategic places, and renaming of 
various files.  Once that was done and I did a 4 5 6 reset and then a 
regular reset, everything worked as it should.  I just hope the 
problem doesn't recur, but so far things look promising.  I had my 
GPS for the mPower in my inbox when I got home, and had to do some 
resets for that, and everything is working well.  So I'm a happy camper.
