Leslie, FFuart Btuart, Hayes compatible, those are all different types of modems that you can use with the PK! But you must Own the modem and you must plug it in the cf flot on the back of the PK before you select one of these options! For example: I use Pretrac modem and therefore I choose Pretrac for my modem. So you have to buy one of these modems. Isaac
