Kathy,

When you're at the "file name" prompt, after you have chosen your folder, space 
or arrow down to the list of files and choose the one you want to erase.  At 
this point, press control+i to delete a file, or shift with read with r to 
rename a file.  Here is where the context sensitive help really shines.  Try it 
sometime, press the help key when at the "list of files" prompt, or when 
pointing to a particular file.

Let me know if this doesn't make sense, and I'll try again.

from the keyword open file menu. That would certainly be of som help. I've been
