Hello, I am wondering, if you can go from the serial of the mpower to the serial of the embosser, by passing the adapter and if that works, then you know you have a bad aadapter. If this is not possible, then maybe and I am not sure about the romeo, but some embossers have settings on them that need to be set if you are switching from a parallel to a serial and maybe this might be tried. Lastly, If these do not work, try the adapter on another device to see if it is working, and eliminate the problem, by checking to see if it is an adapter problem, cable problem or port problem.
