Hello Kathleen: The information your being given is correct, but left and right become a bit vague when not knowing whether or not your looking at the back of the MPower from the front (The unit is in its normal working position) or backwards (The units back panel is facing you). So, with the unit in its normal working position, in other words ready to type on. Reach back and find the AC power cord connection which should be on the left as the unit faces away from you. Now move your finger down below that connection and then in towards the rest of the ports on the MPower. You should feel an indentation and in the middle of that indentation a slot. That's the SD card slot. Its not very big. In fact, about half as thick as a credit card. I hope that was clear, if not, I hope I didn't make it worse for you.
