How do I know they're text? It is my hymnal I use in church.
It's being scanned in, so that I can use it.

If you can't open them, how do you know they are text?
JPG files are, images. If someone has scanned them, perhaps they
haven't performed the necessary Optical Character Recognition
that would
extract the text.

Hi all:
Okay, Isaac: I asked about the dot jgp format, and you said it
was pictures. There are no pictures on these pages. It is text
that is being scanned in.
