Hi there, a couple of questions and the reason why I'd like ot see ogg support on the bn. 1. Can the braille note accept devices that send a line level signal, i.e, keyboards, other radios, etc on the microphone jack? 2. Is this jack only a mono input? A pc is probably better for this type of thing though, but just curious as it seems the pac mate can do stereo recordings from other devices. Now, the reason I like ogg files a lot. As things stand, a high quality recording (one at 44.1 khz, 16 bit), will take 5 mb in mono, and 10.5 mb in stereo when recording the radio, per minute. Now, with an ogg file, at the lowest quality, which still does sound very acceptable, 1 minute only takes up a tiny 600 kb! Big difference? Even a standard 128 kbps mp3 takes roughly 1 mb per minute, so you can see why I'd like to see compressed format support added to the voice recorder. Cant wait to get my hands on an mPower though, I love the responsiveness of the radio, and I can see that the database is going to be very cool. Thanks, Arthur. _______________________________________________ No banners. No pop-ups. No kidding. Make My Way your home on the Web - http://www.myway.com
