Hi Tom, I also use a Voicenote BT (the mPower) and I will be navigating through a document, or writing an email, and the unit will sometimes lock up. I don't have to reset all the time, though. I'm almost 100% certain this is a bug, as another list member was experiencing the same problem with his Voicenote mPower BT, so it's not just your grandson's machine. Hope this helps. David
