Hi everyone. Its been a long time since I've been on this list. I recently
got my braille note bt 32 upgraded to the Mpower by way of the upgrade plan
offered by HumanWare. My Braille note Mpower is finished being upgraded but
it got sent to my mom and dad's address instead of to me. So it is sitting
at their house where I'll get it when I go visit them next weekend. My GF
also had her BrailleNote 32 bt upgraded to the Mpower and she seems to like
it pretty well.
Now, I have a question. I have a wireless card which I tested on my gf's
Mpower and it really works well. I'm amazed at how fast web pages load and
also of how well streaming audio works on the Mpower. However, when I
travel to visit my parents', I'll be away from a wireless network. They
have cable modem access and use a router to connect their computers to the
internet. I am considering to purchase a pcm ethernet card or compact flash
ethernet card if such a thing exists but I'm not sure which brands and
models work with the Braille Note Mpower. Does any have any suggestions as
to which ethernet card I should get? Hopefully its something I can just go
purchase out of a store such as best buy or circuit city as we have those
stores in the town where I live. If not, I'm still interested in which
cards will work with the BrailleNote Mpower.
