Hi Don,

I found my drive at amazon.com. What I'm trying to figure out is if I'm
eligible for a rebate, and I've gotten no response from amazon on that.
Also, I did read that the specs for this drive are for operation at 5400
RPM, drives on desktop machines typically run at 7200 RPM, which I suspect
explains for the slower performance you've experienced when copying larger
files.
Best Regards,

Les

One other thing about the Western Digital drive. I had a small problem
finding a place that had the drive in stock. Apparently they're pretty
popular.

I finally found it at

http://www.newegg.com

and I also found the site to be quite accessible using window eyes.

Don
