I moved the vnqt6.1 manual in txt format from my cd to my cf card so I could
read it with my voicenote. I used the find command searching forward to find
references to the battery on the search word battery. I find a reference and
press Read-G to start reading at that point and get reading letter by letter
again as in that message I discussed from Rhonda on block commands. it says
newline tab nine indent and then one character, newline tab nine indent and the
next letter and so on. For several of the references I found it worked just
fine, and I can't find anything that would trigger this behavior in the nature
of the selections where it started reading character by character. Has anyone
else ever seen this behavior? I talked to tech support, but Sam had no idea
what it was doing and thinking it was my email database suggested I delete that
and sart again there. Obviously that's not the problem since it also happens in
a file from the cf card being read as a book.

And while I'm asking about odd behavior, I thought switching tasks allowed you
to remain in the task you left except in email. When I switched from bookread
to email to write this message, then put this message in drafts and went back
to book read to check on exactly what was being said letter by letter, I had to
reload the manual and start reading again. Is that proper? Did I misunderstand
the task switching in that case?

I bought my unit used in May, but it had just been given a clean bill of health
and a new battery by Humanware days before I got it, so should be just fine.
Are these problems or just quirks of keysoft?
