HI Listers:
I understand that people learn differently. some of us find the
documentation on the BN sufficient to work with, and others would need a
braille manual.
Kurzweil Education Systems, the developer of the K1000 software, does
provide a braille version of their manual for the K1000 at a price.
I'm sure this subject has been mentioned before, so forgive me if this is
redundant. One outstanding feature of the BN is the online context help
at prompts -- just press the HELP key (the second key from the left on t
he bottom row of the keybord on the QT model and I apologize for not
knowing its equivalent on the BT model). This help is almost always
sifficient to help me when I get stuck -- there are a few exceptions where
it needs to be improved. I realize this may not be of help to people who
need a braille manual to go through the steps, but it's been most helpful
to me and you don't have to switch back and forth the way you need to
withthe online manual.
