I also use CDex to turn my CD's into MP3 format, then just cut or copy
them into a folder on my compact-flash card. It works fine this way, and
CDex is nice and easy to use. Hope this works out for you and your son.

I am trying to copy a CD to my son's braillenote so that he can listen to
