Hi, Peggy. There is no reason why you can't do that. Just tell the MPower to put the recording on your flash card and away you go. I bet a 1 gb card could hold 2-3 hours at 22 khz 16 bits. I bet at 44 khz, it would still hold over an hour and a half.

Hi, all. I'll be having my Braille display transplanted to an mPower in a couple months, and had a question about using the recording function. From the manual and what was said in the demo, I understand that the recording is primarily there for recording short memos, etc. But I'm wondering about the possibility of getting a card with several gigs of memory on it and maybe using the mPower's record feature to, say, record a part at choir rehearsal, or record a song at my voice lesson. With things set for high-quality recording, and a big storage card, would this be possible? Just curious to hear the thoughts of those who are fortunate enough to already be able to play with their new toy. <smile>
